Smart Tots

Smart Start Georgia, a partnership of United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta, and Kaplan Early Learning Company are happy to announce SMART TOTS! Smart Tots is a playground project to enhance and improve infant and toddler playgrounds and to promote safety and educational play for our youngest children.  Studies confirm that play is an important part of a child’s development, especially for children under 5.

Outdoor play presents children with unique sights, smells, and sounds that stimulate creativity.  Not only do playgrounds provide safe places for children to play with friends, use their imagination and stay healthy, but they are also places where children can develop important social skills and define their character traits which will stay with them throughout their lives.
